We had this system installed in our remodeled bathroom in September 2023. For the most part, it has worked beautifully and we've been ecstatic with it. However, it is not without issues. It has to be re-paired with Amazon Alexa every 3 months, unlike every other Alexa skill out there. Why? Who knows. Because Kohler says so, I guess. Lately it has been needing to be re-paired every 2 weeks (today was the 3rd time). Also today it said there's a firmware update, but when I go to update I get a message that the shower is offline and I need to check the wifi connection. How? There's no wifi settings on the shower setup or in the app, or in my Kohler account anywhere. There is an Advanced/Locked section of settings that requires a PIN on the in-shower control and I have no idea what the PIN is or how to find it; we didn't set it and we can't get into these settings. The Hydro Massage System includes: a hydro pump with an in-line water heater, eco-friendly ozone sterilization system, intensity dial control, and strategically positioned hydro jets. The Ella Monaco has 15 strategically placed hydro jets: 9 upper fixed jets provide relief to your back, hips/thighs, and 6 lower adjustable jets for your feet/calves. The Air Jet Massage System includes an air pump with a 3-speed variable push control, strategically positioned air jets for optimal therapeutic relief, and an auto-purge to maintain an air system free of any build ups. The Monaco has 16 strategically placed air jets create a gentle massage. 8 upper, fixed flat jets for your back, hips and thighs, while 8 floor jets located in the lower foot area for a foot and leg massage. The 5-Piece fast-fill faucet (18 GPM based on plumbing conditions) has: 2 temperature levers, a diverter lever, a mounted faucet and a pull out multi-functional hand shower. The Heated Seat & Backrest help keep you comfortable and warm while your walk-in tub fills, and Chromatherapy features multicolor LED lights.
