Installation was a bit tricky as this was the first custom shower drain I have installed but I was able to figure it out. Once installed this drain is awesome. The large water collection area prevents any kind of pooling and has a luxurious feel about it. Blanco makes the best stainless steel sinks. This sink is very roomy and beautiful. If you buy a stainless steel sink it MUST have sound dampening. The effortless enjoyment of Gerber® Plumbing Fixtures floor mount tub fillers begins with the simple installation of the rough-in valve. The rough-in valve can be installed in any direction as long as the bathtub center line is aligned with one of the six screws on the plaster guard. The plaster guard has a flat top for easy leveling in installation to ensure the trim will be standing straight after installation. A test cap and plugs are included for pressure testing the connection between the rough-in valve and water supply lines.

Part is new, looks good, arrived on time. Great. However, there's no mention or photo that shows this part is only the 'sleeve' that is inserted into the rough-in mix valve - it doesn't include the internal cartridge (must purchase separately if needed).
