Sofa reads deep Navy blue rather than black. See photos with black in my carpet also compared to the Wayfair photo online here. Took two people about an hour to unbox and construct. I will report later about stability. Somehow there seems to be an extra bolt which may be a problem on my end. Initial feeling when seated is a very soft, sink in and cozy experience as the fabric is smooth and velvety. However, if you're looking for more support when sitting this is not for you. I added two more firm throw pillows to support my back. It's long enough to stretch out which is nice if you're napping. The overall look is contemporary and elegant without being overpowering. The wood support system seems solid and is good looking and you don't have to worry about legs breaking. Overall very nice piece. I'm not sure about durability of the various pillows. This sofa was easy to put together for my husband, although he needed me to hold the edge of one section of the sofa to help with sliding the latch in between the furniture pieces. The set looks just like the picture, so this is great. It is pretty huge and may not be the best for our space, but it will suffice for now. It took a few days for the pillows to fluff out (expand) to look puffy - so do not be discouraged when you see that it looks flat initially.
