So… I ordered this ottoman because I saw it at a distant friend’s house. She told me which product number on Wayfair it was. It’s a great looking ottoman. The quality is top notch. Unfortunately FedEx delivered it with the box completely falling apart and dragged it on the pavement concrete and it got dirty. So I was going to just scrub it clean but upon opening it is completely dented in and the red ribbon that they pack with it has totally run all over it. It took a few days for the pillows to fluff out (expand) to look puffy - so do not be discouraged when you see that it looks flat initially. Wayfair did a great job of refunding me some money when the couch was delivered defective even though it wasn't a defect that kept me from using the sofa. Product = Great. Customer Service = Phenomenal. My issue is with the "Red Barrel Studio" re-branding. It turns out the sofa is actually the Jackson Furniture Ava Sofa and has a much lower price point at stores nearby. I find that to be slightly questionable and would recommend that customers considering this couch look for the Jackson Furniture version locally first. When I spoke with the customer care team, they said this was pretty common practice which now makes me wonder if I should double check ALL items on Wayfair against local competitors for better prices. The couch is beautiful to look at and the color I got was Contessa Ruby. The color leans more on the redpink side but it looks great in my space. It’s not very comfortable but hopefully over time I’ll break it in I’d give it 3.5 stars but that’s not an option. This couch is a really nice shade of grey. Material is a great texture. Cushions are nice and thick. Legs were a challenge to put on. No predrilled holes. A drill will be much easier. Couch came with a few disappointing things, under material us poorly stalked to the bottom and sloppily. A section was ripped along the wood and a few flaws in the material here and there.. Shauna.
