This Y-latch is just what I was looking for, it is a little bigger then i needed, but it won't work with my gate. the space between the gate and the post is too small. I think you need at least 2in. This ADA compliant slide latch is constructed of stamped stainless steel and comes in a satin finish. It is a surface-mounted latch that is designed for use on 1 in. thick swing-in partition doors, and it comes complete with an "occupied" indicator and a matching stainless steel keeper. The exterior indicator has a dial-type internal mechanism that announces a locked door (or an occupied stall) with red color when the lock is engaged. When the slide lock is in the unlocked position, the dial indicator reveals a green color, or unoccupied state, announcing its availability for use. For access to the locked stall, the exterior indicator also comes equipped with a stainless steel pull and a slotted barrel nut which can disengage the lock from the exterior in the event of an emergency.
