Seasoning and reseasoning is something that I actually like to do to keep them non stick. These pans sit on my stove and they are what we us 95% of the time. Do it! They will last your lifetime and through your children’s lives. The pan comes unseasoned so the color is more bronze, after seasoning they will be black. I ordered this in good faith. it was actually out of stock, I was sent partial , and told in order to get a refund I would have to send the one piece at my own expense. by the way, my purchase was done with the help of an associate on the telephone who wrongly assured me it was in stock and would be on its way to me.
