I eventually realized that showering without it was much more enjoyable. Had to throw it away. The teak option is the way to go but it’s not available for my model for some weird reason. I bought this faucet trim for its modern style. It's a little larger than I expected, and it does not come with a shut off valve, as many of them do not. But after calling around I finally found the one that goes with it and everything is working fine. If my budget was larger, I would have chosen an entire shower trim set that was very expensive and more sleek. But this was a middle ground that I found pleasing. I would recommend this product.
