The RainDrain Match 23 5/8" drain trim (finish set) in matte black from hansgrohe is a flexible drainage solution for installation flush with the back wall or freestanding in the shower area. The shower drain trim's matte black finish goes particularly well with modern bathroom designs. Alternatively, the channel can be tiled at the back also (max. tile thickness 18 mm). The vertically adjustable frame offers flexibility in the drain barrier also: so the system can be adjusted to the height of the tiles – for floor-level installation without trip hazard. The result meets the requirements of a barrier-free shower area. The innovative high-tech silicone membrane also ensure that hair and dirt do not get stuck. This helps prevent annoying blockages in the drain. It is easy: They are installed on a complete set with pre-assembled sealing fleece (sold separately).

I bought this faucet trim for its modern style. It's a little larger than I expected, and it does not come with a shut off valve, as many of them do not. But after calling around I finally found the one that goes with it and everything is working fine. If my budget was larger, I would have chosen an entire shower trim set that was very expensive and more sleek. But this was a middle ground that I found pleasing. I would recommend this product. The quality is top notch. I did not enjoy the sound when the shower water hits this drain cover. It’s super loud and annoying. Shower water on the plain cast iron pan is so much better. I eventually realized that showering without it was much more enjoyable. Had to throw it away. The teak option is the way to go but it’s not available for my model for some weird reason. No drain cover is really necessary for the Bellwether pans with the trench drain. This was a wasted purchase.. Nate. Newport, KY. Mon Aug 24 2020
