Years ago, we installed a hunter green door with a digital lock in Texas, and it was fantastic. However, we eventually had to replace the digital lock. Unfortunately, the company shifted to high-volume production and now only offers key locks. Aside from that, it's a sturdy door. We also had the option of etched glass, but they decided to stick with standard glass instead, limiting our choices. It's disappointing! This mortise lock is constructed of steel components with rounded faceplate ends. It features an adjustable, spring-loaded hook latch projection, and it can be used on sliding patio doors constructed of wood, aluminum and vinyl. This lock works with mortise style, surface-mounted patio door handle sets with 45 degree angled keyway positions when in the locked position. The mounting hole centers of this lock measures 5-3/86 inch from center to center, and the rear housing corners are secured with mounting holes that are 3-15/16 inch on center.

This deadbolt strike is constructed of heavy gauge stamped steel and comes in a satin nickel plated finish. It features a 3/4 in. x 1-1/16 in. opening that fits most entry door deadbolt hardware. Four 3 in. screws are provided with each plate to allow for a stronger hold, deep into the wall stud beneath the jamb. Use this strike and fasteners to help reinforce the most vulnerable area of entry door systems.

This kick plate is constructed from aluminum and it features a removable PVC protective coating. This kick plate will provide full coverage on 36 in. wide doors.
