Installation was a bit tricky as this was the first custom shower drain I have installed but I was able to figure it out. Once installed this drain is awesome. The large water collection area prevents any kind of pooling and has a luxurious feel about it. Wish I could have installed this myself, but alas, I watched from the sidelines as my tiler and plumber experts worked in tandem over a few days with the drain and eventually the final product/install. Trying to stay out of the expert’s way, I can now truly appreciate this upgraded elegant look. This was certainly an upgrade from our “plain drain” that we had lived with since we bought our house. I am beyond impressed! 2.5 years after purchase and these two beds remain in excellent shape. With two 80-lb dogs, the foam hasnt crushed at all. The 16 yr old chocolate lab loves the bolsters.
