It took a few days for the pillows to fluff out (expand) to look puffy - so do not be discouraged when you see that it looks flat initially. Initial feeling when seated is a very soft, sink in and cozy experience as the fabric is smooth and velvety. However, if you're looking for more support when sitting this is not for you. I added two more firm throw pillows to support my back. It's long enough to stretch out which is nice if you're napping. The overall look is contemporary and elegant without being overpowering. The wood support system seems solid and is good looking and you don't have to worry about legs breaking. Overall very nice piece. I'm not sure about durability of the various pillows. Appreciate that it’s not off gassing toxins. * Update-Only negative is that I wish the bench cushion was flippable like the back cushions, I have to keep adjusting the cushion because it pulls forward physically and the material pulls forward so I have to unzip it and realign the seems. Beautiful sofa with really nice and thick material. I the seats are quite wide and so it makes it comfortable. The color is really nice (linen) and feels sturdy. The only issue is that the sofa is quite a bit lower to the ground than any other sofa in my house and so it’s hard to pair it in the same room. I would say my other sofas are standard size and this one is at least 6 inches lower to the ground. Make sure you measure before you order. Okay. The couch itself is absolutely wonderful! It's soft, the color is a wonderful gray and the USB outlets are awesome. Wayfair did a great job of refunding me some money when the couch was delivered defective even though it wasn't a defect that kept me from using the sofa. Product = Great. Customer Service = Phenomenal. My issue is with the "Red Barrel Studio" re-branding. It turns out the sofa is actually the Jackson Furniture Ava Sofa and has a much lower price point at stores nearby. I find that to be slightly questionable and would recommend that customers considering this couch look for the Jackson Furniture version locally first. When I spoke with the customer care team, they said this was pretty common practice which now makes me wonder if I should double check ALL items on Wayfair against local competitors for better prices.
