The Y-Latch is a swing latch that provides adjustability to your gate. Designed to work with aluminum gates and is composed of steel, so it will withstand the most extreme weather conditions. This latch is is lockable in two places for extra security and works with 2" posts and 2" uprights.

This Y-latch is just what I was looking for, it is a little bigger then i needed, but it won't work with my gate. the space between the gate and the post is too small. I think you need at least 2in. These were the best and most thorough assembly instructions I have come across. It shows the love that Lifetime employees put into their products. A manual full of instructions and clear illustrations. There was no missing hardware and the resulting building looks great and ready to be packed with items. You might be able to find a cheaper storage building, but I would question whether its quality or looks can compare to my Lifetime buildings. All I get are complements.
