The size and hinges are good but there was a chip out of the frame, rough edges and drippy primer. Square in the frame and easy to install. I really like the weight of this door; not too light. Needed some sanding and some black goo removed. Edges around the hinges are rough like could have used sharper cutting tools. Painting this door is odd in that the paint doesn't stick very well and will peel off easily on a 2nd coat if you need to remove small debris while you're painting.. Mary. Beavercreek, OR. Waterfall edges and graceful curves at the top and bottom of the plate provide a classic, but dignified update to your exterior door hardware. Ideal for doors that are 84 inches or higher, where a standard height plate would not look to scale. The door is opened by a thumb latch on the exterior and by a knob on the interior. On the deadbolt, there is a keyed lock cylinder for use on the outside of the door while a thumb turn is used to lock the door on the interior.
