Installation was a bit tricky as this was the first custom shower drain I have installed but I was able to figure it out. Once installed this drain is awesome. The large water collection area prevents any kind of pooling and has a luxurious feel about it. I eventually realized that showering without it was much more enjoyable. Had to throw it away. The teak option is the way to go but it’s not available for my model for some weird reason. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports.
