I was happy to find these shades for our patio. Hadn't had much luck except to order custom made at three times the price! I wish these were offered in shorter lengths....96 x 96 is 3 feet longer than the openings on my patio, but we can unroll them to the floor at almost 8 feet, or just leave them at the top of our brick wall and have extra fabric on the roll. As it’s getting dark in the evening, and the lights are on in our kitchenfamily room, you can see everything in our home almost as clearly as if the shade were not in place. Also, my home is fully automated with Alexa control. I have two universal RF hubs (Bond Bridge Pro and Toyanc IRRF transmitter) for home automation, and for some reason, both accepted the programming frequency of the remote (433.92 MHz), but neither would transmit the right codes. Not bad! Looks just like the photo in the description. Measured 100 times before I ordered. There is more of a gap towards the bottom right than top. At the top, both sides start at about 34” gap. At the bottom, the right gap ends up being about 1 ¼” and the left about ½”. Mounting was easy as I had slatted blinds, so I just popped those off and replaced the brackets for the new ones - a quick Google search and YouTube video helped. Took about 30 minutes by myself.. Super nice shade. I love it. Color is light gray, perfect - not white, not gray. I bought it for privacy and I can see out, but one can only see shadows looking in. I had to hang the shade on a metal structure so the hardware included didn't work but my great handyman used metal screws and made it work. A suggestion, there is only one set of hooks for the bungee cord so I bought an additional set from the local OSH to hold the shade at an additional height. They didn't have matching hooks but found some that look nice and work. If you have any wind you will want the hooks to keep the shade from flapping. Would definitely buy another.. Anonymous. The UV Block outdoor Roller Shade, works wonderfully, went from not being able to sit on the back porch due to the setting sun to being able to sit there and enjoy the view. The roller shade was easy to install and is aesthetically pleasing. A feature that I don’t really like is the “stopper “ that is installed on the chain is placed so the shade doesn’t roll all of the way up. I don’t know if it is by design or a manufacturer error.
