Pine with a baked on finish which looks fantastic. Assembly is simple and the directions are straightforward. Everything aligned perfectly and it took about 45 min to assemble both boxes. The structure seems somewhat weak, especially considering the cost. One major issue is that the top section does not fully align or securely attach to the bottom section. It only has two small connectors holding both parts together, which makes it unstable. When you push it slightly, it leans backward, which is concerning. I love the look but it doesn’t come without some issues. There were several deep dents and scrapes on this. The directions had a several typos (Picture shows directions labeling a screw B but there’s no B screw.) Some design choices like the magnets on the door were not the greatest. Pantry is very nice but arrived with a few dings, one in the top corner that made assembly even more challenging. The dings weren’t bad enough that we wanted to box it up to ship back but they do show a bit. We’re using it in the garage so standards are a bit lower than in the house.
