Best feeling shower ever! I felt this “PowderRain” shower head at a local supplier showroom and fell in love with it. The price here is ALOT lower! My plumber was impressed with the high quality parts. Don’t position the rain shower head too high above your head or the water will not be the right force and will cool down before it gets to you. About 12-15” I think is ideal. Found this out the hard way. Iwanted it tall enough for my husband, but we installed it too high to be optimal. The settings on the handheld shower wand are nice. There are three -one that has more force for rinsing out shampoo, and another with a spiral massage, as well as the same powder rain as the wall mounted shower head. It feels like getting soaked with a soft rain. More of a relaxing sensory experience which is why the other stronger setting on the handle shower is useful. The wall rod adjusts the height of the handwand easily and can be used as a separate overhead shower as well. I purchased the brushed nickel and the wall controller does get water spots so must be cleaned accordingly. (The grab bars in my picture were purchased separately and are not included in this kit). The rough-in valve can be installed in any direction as long as the bathtub center line is aligned with one of the six screws on the plaster guard. The plaster guard has a flat top for easy leveling in installation to ensure the trim will be standing straight after installation. Installation was a bit tricky as this was the first custom shower drain I have installed but I was able to figure it out. Once installed this drain is awesome. The large water collection area prevents any kind of pooling and has a luxurious feel about it. I bought this faucet trim for its modern style. It's a little larger than I expected, and it does not come with a shut off valve, as many of them do not. But after calling around I finally found the one that goes with it and everything is working fine. If my budget was larger, I would have chosen an entire shower trim set that was very expensive and more sleek. But this was a middle ground that I found pleasing. I would recommend this product.
