Really like how this came together! It was easy to assemble, and everything feels sturdy and well made. I recommend attaching brackets to the sides of the cabinets for additional support. The ClosetMaid Impressions Adjustable Teardrop Closet Rod allows you to customize the size to fit your closet's exact shape, expanding from 30 in. to 48 in. The teardrop design of the sturdy steel rod allows for a higher load capacity than a standard round bar. It also helps hangers slide easily. Add another rod to double-hang shirts over pants or hang high for longer items like dresses.

I installed the rods at exactly 48 inches. They feel lightweight but sturdy, and the hanging brackets feel sturdy too. The instructions were a little unclear, and I wasn’t sure what the extra screws were for, but I was able to install them. If you have the space, I’d recommend choosing a larger size for more support in the middle. I don’t plan to pack mine tightly; I’ll use them for my seasonal and most-worn clothes.. Kahrla_g. Ig. Installed in a couple of hours, but Closet Maid includes a bracket that is supposed to make installation easier. It doesn't. Holes are not 16 inches apart so you will either use mollies or drill holes in the bracket. We threw it away. Now, for the good stuff. The adjustable shelving was perfectly easy to customize for what we had to store and if things change, so can the shelving. It's really sturdy and, if you have a level and a drill, you can install it in about an hour.. Carol. Belleville, MI. Wed Jun 03 2026

i have to give this a four - the instructions are bit lacking - but the real problem was me - i thought it was a spring tension pole - it doesn't fit my shower - i may be able to use it as a curtain rod - my fault - otherwise it is nice looking and well made. I think this is really cute and useful. But I think it may be more for children’s clothing. I’m a petite 5 foto tall woman so I made it work, but I wouldn’t recommend this for adults of average size. This versatile wardrobe organiser with drawers maximizes vertical space. Use it alone in a wardrobe or corner, or combine multiple units for a custom walk-in wardrobe. It features a 4-inch to 9-foot width range, 21-inch-wide cabinets, an adjustable/removable middle divider for extra height, a shoe-storing bottom drawer, and anti-tipping safety device for secure use with heavy clothing.

Great Closet Organization Solution. I’m really happy with how this closet organization setup has helped maximize the available space. The combination of hanging space, shelving, and multiple drawers makes it much easier to keep everything organized and accessible. I especially like having designated areas for folded clothes, shoes, accessories, and other items that can easily make a closet feel cluttered. The drawers are very useful for keeping smaller clothing items contained, while the open shelving makes it easy to see what I have without having to dig through piles. The hanging sections also provide plenty of room for dresses, shirts, jackets, and other clothing. For a smaller or shared closet, I think a setup like this can make a big difference because it uses the vertical space instead of allowing everything to pile up on the floor. Closet organization experts similarly recommend combining drawers, shelves, bins, and hanging storage to make the most of limited closet space. Overall, it has made the closet much more functional and gives everything a designated place. It’s definitely a great option if you’re trying to make the most of your closet space while keeping everything neat and easy to find.. Karla. Homestead, FL. Mon Sep 21 2026

Overall, I'm really happy with this closet system. It was packaged well, and the instructions were easy to follow. I especially liked the breakdown on the first page, which helped me organize the pieces before assembly. It took me about 20 minutes at a relaxed pace to put together. The material feels like good quality, and I really like the flexibility of having different configurations with the hanging rods and adjustable shelf. My only complaint is the exposed screws.
