Got this for my nephew who needed storage in his room. He lives in a place where there is lots of humidity and termites, which this completely metal storage shelf is perfect for. Hopefully it stands up to it's durability over time. It took over an hour to put together, all parts where there and nothing was damaged. A compact, clean-lined buffet that blends classic Shaker styling with everyday storage. We purchased three oak cabinets to make a buffet. All came in perfect shape due to excellent packaging. Instructions are easy to follow pictures, but we found that putting hinges on panels 2 and 3, right from the start made it easier to put doors on at the end, since it’s hard to screw on when everything is put together. The trick at the end is to make sure the hinges are in closed position then place door holes over hinge, as if the door was completely closed. Then slowly open the door and the hinge will be in correct position to screw the remaining screws on door backside. Also double check that panel 5 is in correct position with locking mechanism near panel 4, otherwise you will have the holes of the mechanism on the top side of the shelf when finished and will have to use oak stickers to cover up the silver hardware. Was not in love with the sizing. We are pretty standard sized folks, and our light winter coats with hangers did not allow the doors to close properly.
