The door looks great however it is very heavy. The door itself was easy to assemble but installing the slide bar was very difficult. I wouldn’t have purchased it if I had known how hard it would be. I had the door professionally installed. I purchased 5 lag bolts , header board , a sander , weatherizing stain to color it grey, spray poly. I was initially disappointed when assembling because some of the boards were cut short and I can see tiny gaps in the wood but it is a heavy door that was a bit of a project. The handle is great and on the other side of the handle there is an intention so you can push the door from the other side. We did not install the lock latch but it is a very solid piece. Really solid door, paint finish is amazing, but it is not really very printable. It would need to be scuffed up well to take any paint, so when one side accidentally had trim applied to it and there were tiny nail holes after we removed the trim strip the painters were concerned about painting the whole door because the finish wouldn't be as good if they had to prep the whole door and eventually the paint-over could fail vs if we just kept most of the door untouched and just painted the one style to cover the small nail holes. LDB_BUILDING Barn Doors added a cozy farmhouse style to your room. Crafted with high-quality, durable wood, ensuring long-lasting strength and stability. Being solid wood it is also nice to add a stain color to it.

These turned out beautifully but I severely underestimated the amount of time it would take to get them to this point. I struggled to get these to stain as dark as I wanted. I tried just staining them at first and then had to go back and sand them down to get them to stain darker. Also must have been my floor not being level but had to sand a bunch off of the bottom to get them to slide without hitting the ground. A lot of work but look really good. Anonymous. Sun Mar 15 2026

This fan worked out perfect on our back porch it moves a lot of air does not wobble and has thin sturdy fan blades so hopefully will last on the back porch in the middle TN humidity.
