Gerber isnt as well-known a brand as some others, but when I was shopping for fixtures for a full bathroom, it was carried by a local, highly-respected plumbing supply store, and I wound up choosing them for their design. I've owned my Broil King Pellet for several years and have tried my friend's low-cost smokers and they simply don't compare. The quality difference in the Broil King is superior, I get a reliable cook each time and haven't had any issues. Other reviews mention auger jams but this can be avoided by not overfilling with pellets and removing your excess pellets after cooking - I have friends who run into auger jams on their smokers and its because they forget that the auger is already half loaded from their last cook. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very happy owners of this bbq, first time having one with a rotisserie…and it’s a favourite way to cook any type of roast…effectively cooking a lot now with no flares so no black burnt meats! Unfortunately our side burner was accidentally turned on by a guest, who didn’t realize it was the side burner, lid down so we have an unsightly burn ring on the lid…we tried to order new one last summer, late in season, out of stock.
