The shower drain trim's matte black finish goes particularly well with modern bathroom designs. Alternatively, the channel can be tiled at the back also (max. tile thickness 18 mm). The vertically adjustable frame offers flexibility in the drain barrier also: so the system can be adjusted to the height of the tiles – for floor-level installation without trip hazard. I bought this faucet trim for its modern style. It's a little larger than I expected, and it does not come with a shut off valve, as many of them do not. But after calling around I finally found the one that goes with it and everything is working fine. If my budget was larger, I would have chosen an entire shower trim set that was very expensive and more sleek. But this was a middle ground that I found pleasing. I would recommend this product.
