Installation was a bit tricky as this was the first custom shower drain I have installed but I was able to figure it out. Once installed this drain is awesome. The large water collection area prevents any kind of pooling and has a luxurious feel about it. Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports. This toilet brings us into this century. Our old clunky 1980s one started leaking and it was toast. The tank also touched the wall which was not good for cleaningcondensation. This has a smaller tank but is higher from the floor for a comfortable and easier-to-reach seat, especially for a taller or older person. Push button means I can’t store a basket of TP and spray on the back, but I’ll come up with something. Of course the prior owners didn’t paint behind the tank so I also had to repaint the whole bathroom before replacing the toilet….but hey, bathroom makeover. I'm underwhelmed by this. The quality of the components and mechanical parts seems below average. The seat attachment works about 85% - i can't get it to tighten down and stay square on the bowl. The float and water inlet are the same as a house brand toilet from a big box store i got a couple months ago. Also it leaked a tiny bit at the water inlet and i had to re-install it. also all of the square, modern toilets are not comfortable to sit on.. Wesley. Seattle, WA. Mon Mar 28 2022
