Installation was a bit tricky as this was the first custom shower drain I have installed but I was able to figure it out. Once installed this drain is awesome. The large water collection area prevents any kind of pooling and has a luxurious feel about it. Our contractor stated he believed he could fix the leg and the damaged end so it would hardly be noticeable. We kept this one and Wayfair made it right for us. We are very grateful. This is really an issue with Fed Ex. While it was packed well , because of its bulkiness, you can see where the box had holes in the middle on both sides and was ripped open and patched over with cardboard. The ends were also dented and box resealed. It weighs 106 lbs. I have to tell you with that behind us it is a very beautiful shower pan and extremely hard to find in that size with a center drain. It is extremely sturdy. All correspondence with Fine Fixtures and Wayfair was quick and everything resolved to our satisfaction. Thank you Wayfair!! I got this 1 1/2 years ago. It is obvious this grill is built to last for the long term. I grill 3 - 4 times a week and this baby is going to endure. The magic of this grill is the heat retention.
