Very lovely pot set. I must admit that I thought they would be a little bigger. I love the fact that the handles come off and go on pretty easily and can be used for all of the pots. The for covers for stacking purposes is a really nice feature. I have not used them yet but am looking forward to be able to actually use them in the oven. They are actually relatively light. So I am assuming they are not iron. It seems like some different kind of material. They are pretty easy to assemble and the instructions are great. The protective base is also a great addition.. We really like our new fry pan. It is the nicest non-stick fry pan we have ever owned. We can cook long pieces of bacon along with eggs and potatoes at the same time.
