We purchased the black option it is beautiful ornate. It is more of a combination of black with the rivets blackgold. Pretty easy to hang but if you get one of the larger sizes I recommend either trying to hang in a stud or using more heavy duty metal wall anchors than the little plastic ones that come with it.
