I’m really happy with this kitchen island. Assembly definitely takes some time because there are a lot of pieces, but everything is clearly labeled and matched to the panels, so it’s easy to stay organized if you follow the instructions. It took me a little while to get it all put together, but once it was finished, it was absolutely worth it. The construction feels solid and sturdy, and it looks much more expensive than I expected. This is a great product. It’s wasn’t difficult to put together but it took a long time due to so many pieces. It took about 5.5 hours to assemble for one person but I think would be quicker and easier with 2 people. 8/10, an absolute WIN! One piece of the table has a dent in it due to shipping and handling. I put a vase on top of it to hide it. Wayfair gave a me a small % of a refund due to the dent. I paid for the professional assembly Wayfair offers, and it took him 3.5 hours to assemble. TONS of pieces, and the instruction manual is crucial! It is not real wood, so I would be careful with the surface—I wouldn’t place hot pans directly on it or set drinks down without a coaster. That said, it looks and feels like a much more expensive piece of furniture once assembled. We are using ours as a homeschool craft and project table, and it is PERFECT for that!
