Urethane Gable Vents shine when it comes to looking like a real wood product without all the maintenance that can come with wood. They are moulded from beautiful designs, like wood products, and come to you factory primed and ready for your paint. The functional option will offer better airflow, however, urethane vents offer the least amount of airflow. Highly recommended for decorative applications.

Great quality Light weight so won’t pull ur siding off Looks real wood n one screw will hold her up Would buy again. Dyane. The Villages, FL. Wed Oct 21 2026

Surface mount PVC gable vents are not only long-lasting, durable, and easy to install, but they instantly add tremendous value and character to the exterior of a home. PVC gable vents are available in a functional option, to allow airflow, and in a non-functional option, if you want to simply enhance the architectural features of your home. Keep the traditional look of an exterior gable vent, without the downsides of traditional wood, by ordering PVC gable vents.

It's almost perfect for where I put it. I have a very high (~12') octagonal window in my bedroom, and it's impossible to find a shade that's right for it. But the sun shines in that window right in my eyes and wakes me up at 6am every morning, so I wanted to cover that window without making it look ridiculous. I have white plantation shutters on the lower windows, so it looks nice with those. The reason I didn't give it a higher rating is because there was a choice between "functional" and "non-functional" versions of this cover, but the terms weren't defined. I assumed they meant that functional has moving slats, and non-functional was slats that don't move. So I ordered the functional version to be sure I could close them all the way But what they meant was that functional has holes between the slats (for allowing airflow in an attic, I guess), and non-functional is solid - no holes. I should have gotten the non-functional version, because it would have blocked all the light. But I couldn't wait another day to get rid of that early morning light, so I just installed it right away and started getting the benefit of blocked light in the morning. It's much better, but I might someday replace it with the non-functional version.. Cheryl. Redwood City, CA. Tue May 09 2023

They look nice, but provide no actual air flow. But they replace some wooden ones that had started to rot and animals had found their way through them. These should keep the critters out of the attic. Don't rely on them for venting your attic. They are maintenance free. Timothy. Louisville, TN. Sat Aug 16 2025

The Lambro® 4-In. Plastic Exhaust Louvered Vent with 11-In. Pipe is ideal for venting through the wall. The vent features opening and closing flaps that seal the vent opening when the clothes dryer or bath fan is not running because no exhaust air exits the vent. When the fan operates, the exhaust air pressure pushes the flaps open to let the exhaust air escape from the vent. You can easily use the exhaust vent for new and replacement installations over an existing 4 inch opening. The vent frame comes with 4 screw holes to secure the vent and a caulk-friendly frame for completing the installation. The vent is a low-profile design that only protrudes a half in. from the side wall when installed. The vent features an opening when the flaps open; the net-free area of the opening is 9.9 sq. in. It is crucial to check the inside of the vent regularly to prevent lint buildup when using it to exhaust a clothes dryer. The vent’s manufacturing material is polymer resin with a UV additive to prevent premature fading caused by sunlight. It would be best to prep the vent before painting; we recommend plastic paint for effective painting. Make sure to check local building codes before installation.

You can easily use the exhaust vent for new and replacement installations over an existing 4 inch opening. The vent frame comes with 4 screw holes to secure the vent and a caulk-friendly frame for completing the installation. Quick-fit connector fittings connect the duct from the dryer exhaust port to the exhaust vent hood. Tough yet flexible for tight 90-degree bends without the need for elbows. Reduces clearance between dryer and wall. Keeps its shape over time. Easily installs without the need for clamps or tape. Features a UL Certified Clothes Dryer Transition Duct. Recommended for electric and gas clothes dryers. Fits a 4-inch diameter dryer vent, and the duct can extend up to 6-feet. All metal and flame resistant. Remains rigid when fully extended for less lint accumulation. Thicker non-combustible aluminum construction. Crush, kink, and puncture-resistant.
