These carpet tiles definitely transformed the little foyer in our home! We wanted to cover up the outdated, ugly, ceramic tile flooring that was there previously. So happy with the end result! The colors in the carpet tiles were exactly as described. This type of pattern will be great at hiding all of the foot traffic as well. I will say, it took us a while to get all of the tiles in place (measure twice, cut once definitely comes into play here!). Also, there’s a roll of sticky tape included, but you will probably need to get an additional roll of tape (we did, but it was worth it!). One tip Use a sharp utility knife. This made cutting the tiles much easier and helped keep the edges clean. We’re already starting on our second box of carpet tiles to cover up the ceramic-tiled landing as well! It’s looking good!. They are sticky, but for the edge, you can use some contact glue on the underlayer to enhance it. Well the product itself is okay-ish. It looks decent for fake wood look and the pattern doesn’t repeat in the box of six planks. It fits together perfectly and with ease. There is a slight strip of discoloration along the edges on some planks. The color is a very muted unsaturated brown. One plank was damaged in shipping right in the middle of the also the bigger issue is that the rest of the boxes I ordered to complete the project are back ordered for six months. I was looking for a match for flooring I installed 10 years ago, I had a few boxes left over that I install and wanted to install it in another area and needed a few more boxes to complete but didn’t want to pay a flooring site $500 for it, Wayfair had this that looked identical in color and grain pattern but called a different name but same brand Mohawk. I purchased for $50 and took a chance and it is the same as Cheyenne Rock Oak with just a slight lighter shade, mixed with the other floor you can’t see any difference.can you see any difference in the photo. First, I would like to start off with... I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL INSTALLER AND THE OPTION TO INSTALL PROFESSIONALLY IS NOT OFFERED. Now, with that out of the way, I love this color flooring and the materials are so smooth when walking on it. The rich walnut goes perfect with my gold accent curtains. It makes the room feel really warm. It is important to purchased the right amount and place the panels in the right directions. The picture and the box that it comes in shows how the placement of the panels go. Do not put them all going in 1 direction, it will not work. I chose the snap and lock ones because I didnt want to get involved with all of that glue, also, I really didnt want to pull my vinyl flooring up because I am not a professional and if I messed up, I could just pull the panels up and hire a professional. (I pulled them up after taking the picture and Im hiring a professional right after this review lol). It seems easy enough, however, I need to pull my base boards off and pull my vinyl up so that they can secure properly.
