Love these Royal Shade sun cloths!! I've purchased several of these to cover numerous outdoor areas that need protection from the sun. They are durable but flexible and allow rain and air to flow through them. They have heavy duty grommets approx. every 12 inches to help secure the shade cloth which really helps because many companies don't have this many grommets and the sunshade ends up flapping and tearing in the wind. These sun shades are so practical, affordable, and easy to install. I highly recommend these for anyone who needs more shade or protection from the sun! Just moved to the desert and it was one of the first things we did to be able to use the patio while unpacking boxes. We bought 2 and really happy we did. So I was skeptical of the price, quality and engineering of this awning especially when I needed the larger 13x10 size, I was afraid it would be too flimsy but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the design and quality of this awning is very good. All the materials along with the engineering make it operate smoothly and efficiently the key is to mount it solidly and tighten all clamps so there is no movement. A bit of advice would be to not over tighten the small screws holding the two halves together they are meant to hold it together not for structural integrity. Common sense would tell you not to keep it open in a wind or heavy rain situation. My only complaint would be some of the directions get lost in the translation but the phone number they supplied was answered right away and the person on the other end was knowledgeable enough to answer all my questions. RSI Knitted shades are more durable than woven shades although lighter due to the interlocking properties and design of the fibers. the threading will not move keeping the uniformity of the material, even when torn. Each shade cloth comes with brass grommets for securing the shade cloth. the grommets are placed approximately 2 feet apart around the perimeter of the each shade cloth.

I ordered this Shade Replacement Canopy for its name. I lost 2 of three huge spruce trees in my yard. Meanwhile we have now got 90” heat while I am trying to rehab the sudden parched weedy dirt whey used to call home. This is my first attempt at stringingsomethin like a Sail for shade, really, for any purpose. It was surprisingly simple, more than I thought The canopy I ordered is the green shade which is sparkly in it synthetic woven fabric. I would put ten of these up but will have to settle for the ine for now. I think another version of this one may be in my future as I stuggle to get watet to my remaining trees. Thanks Wayfair.
