These are nice storage cabinets. It took about 8 hours to assemble two units. We put 2 of these cabinets in a nook in a bedroom. They fit perfectly Instructions were clear and helpful. The shelves are stationery but will hold many things. We like the added glass doors at the top, which make it a little nicer in appearance. I gave 4 stars because 1 of the tall doors came with only 2 holes bored for the hinges. So we had to wait for it to be replaced before we could finish. Wayfair is very fast to respond to damage or parts issue and they worked with the manufacturer to get the door replaced in just a few days! It did take 2 people to place the top of the unit onto the bottom half safely. This is a very nice piece and went together very well. The bookcase is very attractive. It was pretty easy to put together but it took a couple of hours to assemble the whole unit. The big negative for me was that the base units were felt solid - made of a heavier duty press board but the bookshelves were made of a much less sturdy particle board. It won’t hold much weight. luv the versatility of this unit and the ability to add more sections down the road. also love the simple but elegant design, my only dislike was the fact that brown is no longer available, also the instructions indicate that you would need to screw the top shelving unit into the basedrawers. I dislike, putting wood screw holes in the base. They should of designed it where instead of using wood screws, you could use machine screws to take it apart without damaging the wood.. William. The finished piece is sturdy and good quality for the price. The one reason I took one star off is because I didn’t realize how narrow the shelf is. Good looking piece, I wouldn’t call it a bookshelf though. It is more than that it can be a credenza with a hutch, a hutch cabinet or china hutch. This build was time consuming as suspected. And also a ton of pieces. Quality of pressboard was fine, and the laminate looked good. I did not like the exposed hardware, I would include wood looking stickers in the package. It is also VERY heavy so you are required to have help… make sure you assemble it close to where you want it… LOVE the doors! They are really cute. The piece itself is good looking! Quality is okay.
