This planter is beautiful and looks to be very well made and durable. I suspect it will last through several Chicago winters. I wish I had known that there is no "bottom" to the container - as we intend to use it on a rooftop deck. This planter is meant to be placed over soil. I also wish they would provide a way to section off the lower part of the planter, so that not so much soil needs to be used.
