The piece brings elegance to a small hallway I decided to paint black with white doors. Instructions are straight forward for DIY if you live in a modern build. My home was built in 1944 YouTube helped with old home electric videos. The biggest install issue was finding the right bracket that could be concealed against a black ceiling. I included receipt of what worked and I covered in electrical tape to conceal the blue. I would have given 5 stars but even with white gloves provided by the manufacturer, most of the short crystals seemed scratched. The item arrived well packaged, and the glass has a bubble texture, high-quality thickness, and is a bit heavy (needing two people to hang it). The black metal frame has a factory finish coat and this light is simply beautiful! I highly recommend this light. NOTE the center metal arms did not appear to attach easily and kept twisting when I was trying to assemble it. After multiple attempts, I contacted customer service and the manufacturer told me to be secure tightly (top and bottom) one arm at a time working your way around the light fixture.
