Love this arbor! The instructions were very user‑friendly, and overall the assembly was straightforward. It definitely requires two people to put together, but once you get going it comes together nicely. I did have to redrill the holes where the rail attaches to the side lattice, but aside from that the process was simple. My biggest tip is to lay out all the pieces before starting so you can familiarize yourself with the components. Doing that made the assembly much easier. Very happy with the final result.. Diana. I got this for my sister's garden so she could grow bean plants on it. There are a lot of pieces but not too horrendous. They supply the tools which is nice. It took a while to put it all together and it doesn't seem super strong; the pieces of wood are thinner than I thought they would be but not too weak. I think with dirt and just beans growing on it, it should be fine. Not sure how long it will hold up, though. It is pretty and it is tall. There is a pic with it parallel to the fence, which is 5 feet tall. so, we might need a step stool to reach the beans, but I think that's ok....nothing against the product, especially if you are using it with people under it (which it would be great for - plenty of space horizontally and vertically. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this arbor it is nice wood and the color is very nice as well, I would advise you determine and measure first the location you want this to be placed as it is bigger than you might think. Also, some help would be needed to put the arbor together, put the pieces of the doors together before you start putting the screws in so you make sure that everything is leveled and both doors close right..
