The Good This pull-out shelf is exceptionally well-made and feels incredibly sturdy once installed. The wood finish is high-quality, and the full-extension rails operate smoothly, making it effortless to access items at the very back of the cabinet. The Installation I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to install. The provided instructions were great—clear, logical, and easy to follow. Additionally, the included alignment guide was a fantastic touch that made the setup much more precise and straightforward. The Sizing (A Note for Beginners) The only challenge I faced was deciding on the final dimensions. Despite measuring four separate times to be certain, my lack of experience in this area made the sizing process a bit confusing. I really love the shelf, but looking at it now, I do wish I would have ordered it one inch wider to fully capture the potential of the space. Because of the sizing gap, I currently have a 3/4-inch space on each side that cuts down on the usable surface area. Uhg! I’m once again wishing for 3.5 stars or a 710. Yes, the Rev-A-Shelf does work and their competition is weak, so I keep buying it. I think this is number four for me in the last few years. It works but they cost so much and leave so much to be desired. The main lacking component in this piece is the absolute waste of space above the can which could easily have been a pull-out drawer. If you’re looking at other pieces, my experience says they’re most likely lacking something too. I hope a competitive company that’s actually good enters the market. For now, let me tell you, it’s probably less expensive and better quality to have something custom-made. I’m doing that for another piece in my kitchen and saving money. I just couldn’t find good cans for this one or would’ve done it too. Over time you’ll probably forget how much you spent on Rev-A-Shelf, which is probably more than twice as much as it’s already marked up retail price should be, but, if you pick it and install it correctly, it should work..
