I purchased two of these to put them outside in my backyard. I left them in the pot it came with and put them in larger pots with more rocks on top. When it gets super windy I remove the top half of the palms so they won't get damaged. I live in Southern Utah so we'll see how they survive the summer sun. Actual palms are notoriously difficult to keep alive. This outdoor palm tree looks great on our patio and was exactly what we needed for the space. It does not look quite as realistic as the indoor ficus tree we previously purchased from Wayfair, but that was expected since this one is designed for outdoor use. For an exterior setting, it still looks very nice and adds a tropical feel to the area. The size was accurate, setup was simple, and the materials seem durable enough to handle outdoor conditions. Once arranged and fluffed out, it filled the corner space perfectly and added a relaxing resort-style touch to our deck area. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase.
