We installed the PetSafe invisible fence system 2 years ago. The directions were easy to follow and It was easy to install. We trained our cat on this invisible fence and we haven't had him leave the premises since. With this system he gets to run around and play in a large area (about an acre), but stays within the boundaries we set for him. When we got our puppy, we purchased an additional collar and we trained him on it as well. He also stays withing the set perimeter. Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports.
