This range hood is high quality. I bought a cheaper version a few years ago for my old house. I liked it, but now that I have this I can see where the cheaper one was lacking. This range hood is thicker steel that wont dent as easily. The oil tray is steel, the baffle filters feel commercial grade, the large duct size really moves a lot of air. I am glad I spent the money. Its loud but quieter than the old one. Relatively quiet for the amount of air it moves. The instructions are good, mounting is easy and secure. This door worked great for my space. It's solid and beautiful. I used it as a half door for a tub enclosure for a bathroom remodel I did. It works great. The contractors were concerned about too much water spraying out from the open end, but it actually works fine. The only reason why I give this a 4 star is because I'm still not sure that it's as easy to clean as advertised. This is supposed to be special glass that makes it super easy to clean from scum.
