We had this system installed in our remodeled bathroom in September 2023. For the most part, it has worked beautifully and we've been ecstatic with it. However, it is not without issues. It has to be re-paired with Amazon Alexa every 3 months, unlike every other Alexa skill out there. Why? Who knows. Because Kohler says so, I guess. Lately it has been needing to be re-paired every 2 weeks (today was the 3rd time). Also today it said there's a firmware update, but when I go to update I get a message that the shower is offline and I need to check the wifi connection. How? There's no wifi settings on the shower setup or in the app, or in my Kohler account anywhere. There is an Advanced/Locked section of settings that requires a PIN on the in-shower control and I have no idea what the PIN is or how to find it; we didn't set it and we can't get into these settings. This is the best!!! I’ve never felt so confidently clean leaving the restroom. The remote is easy to use once you learn the symbols and it adjusts the heat of the seat, heat of the water and the distance that the cleaning and drying wands come out to get a personalized experience. Plus you can adjust the water stream to go full pressure or go a little easier, depending on your needs. The dryer works well and I love the little odorizer that seems to work really well too. We got a longer seat and a shorter seat version (both sold here). The longer seat is about the size of a regular toilet seat and the regular seat size feels more like a kids sized seat, so I recommend the longer seat regardless of the size of your toilet bowl.. The large water collection area prevents any kind of pooling and has a luxurious feel about it. This toilet is awesome!!! It is a high functioning toilet providing multiple comforting options like a heated seat, self cleaning bidet, night light, massage, etc. Enjoy tranquility on the toilet by listening to soothing music. Installation time does range from 1 to 4 hours depending on having an electrical outlet near for connectivity. The toilet also offers a manual flush feature should you loose electrical power.
