Came exactly as pictured! Super cute, the cats love it. However, a small thing I didn't even think about is that it's a little wobbly because even the bottom is kind of light-weight pressed wood boards. Currently, I'm using some free weights to keep it steady. There is an option to screw a nail into a wall for support, but I rent and can't do that. This is a fantastic activity center for a multicat household, but would be good for a single cat if you really want to spoil them! Perfect for cats to play, scratch, and sleep. It is really solid and of good quality as tested hundreds of times. This is Eddie's favorite cat tree. Bought several others and he didn't love them. This one is well built and he loves the platforms as alternate sleeping locations and the fact that is has lots of scratching posts. I ordered 2 of these cat trees as replacements for my tribe. At first sight, I didn’t think they were going to be the right size as the box they arrived in was small and I have large cats. Upon opening, we found the product was only meticulously packed and everything looked fine. Even though my cats seem to love their new trees, I question the durability of this product. It seems as if the boards and posts are quite thin and that concerns me. I’m not saying they are cheaply made, but I do remember having several more durable cat trees over the years. Only time and use will determine the quality of this product. The material on this tree is extremely thin and I’m sure it will meet its demise before it’s time. I hope I am mistaken and they will last for a while though. Only time will tell. The trees DO although have many levels to perch in and two large cubbies where they can hide or sleep. These cubbies are actually pretty large and my cats are very comfortable in them. The price point was great as I was able to catch them on sale.
