Super easy to put together! We got this enclosure for a kitty recovering from surgery, then ended up leaving it standing because all the kitties actually enjoy hanging out inon it! It’s very spacious and the solid loungeroof panels are slightly textured so not too slippery for the pets. Pro tip if, like ours, your cats enjoy being on top of the whole thing, do make use of the zip ties provided in the kit so that the top panels stay put and together. Great value!. Allison. Pre-drilled panels, illustrated step-by-step instructions and labeled hardware make assembly straightforward; all you add is love, toys and your favorite furry friends. (Note: package contains the wooden catio only; cushions and decorative cat condo shown in lifestyle photos are not included.). Built with a sturdy, weather-resistant structure, it lets cats lounge lazily in the hammock for warm sunbathing and year-round natural light, while satisfying their natural instincts to climb, scratch, hide and play. Multiple lockable doors make daily interaction and care effortless. More than just an enclosure, it’s a paradise where cats can explore, relax and express themselves freely!

This catio is a game changer!! My daughter’s cat is obsessed with it! She used to harness him and put him on a tie out to get fresh air and stimulation, but he’d always manage to get out of the harness. Now he can be outside without having to constantly worry. It has a great cedar smell to it and seems to be good quality. Assembly took about 2 hours, but was worth it in the end! She wheels it in and out of the garage daily so the wood will last longer. She added a litter box to the bottom and puts his food bowls out as well, so he’s set for the day!. Joni. Hobart, WI. Tue Jun 30 2026

I decided to paint this cat cage the same color as my house and detached garage. It is so cute. I’m so happy with how it turned out aesthetically and the cats really love it too. I had to put adhesive cat scratch mat on all the surfaces I painted so the cats would use it - they didn’t like the semi gloss paint. But it’s okay now and they love it!. Elizabeth. Los Angeles, CA. It’s nice. Quality is good not the greatest some parts came dented (wood and cage material) but overall good quality. Sooooo many screws to put together so get your drill ready took three people for us to build but definitely minimum is two. We reinforced the platforms with extra screws and few other areas. We were missing 7 main screws but nothing we couldn’t get at the stores. We have three heavy/fat cats. Overall I’d say if you would like a safe and spacious enclosure for your cats this is nice.. For the most part I was happy with my purchase. It was very easy to put together, but the quality was not as good as I was hoping for for the amount of money I spent on it. I had the wood split three times when I was trying to attach the wheels and as you see in a couple of the pictures you can see a back panel that was pre-assembled had a screw put in at an angle and it broke through the wood and now I have a sharp screw sticking through.. This will be great for our feral kitty. We haven't had a chance to check out how the cat likes the inside or how the heating pad works in the cold, but right now, the kitty likes being underneath the deck. The complaints about the dirt is just referencing the granules that come off of the roofing material ... be sure to assemble in a place where you can clean them up easily. Assembly was a bit challenging, for things like attaching the housing unit to the deck ... it's hard to get underneath to drive in the screws and I would recommend drilling holes through the decking first, not much room to maneuver and at this point you can't really turn it on it's side and keep things aligned. I used a short phillips screwdriver to set the screws, then turned it on its side to tighten them. Roof assembly was a bit challenging. there's no real positioning instructions so I used the aggregate on the short side pushed up to the housing part for alignment. Screwing in the roof was also a challenge. After positioning, I marked the hinge screw holes with a pencil, took off the roof pieces (did this one by one), drilled holes (btw, drill larger holes in the door strip flap attachment and other small wood pieces to keep the wood from splitting), put the roof pieces back on, and screwed them in ... not much room to maneuver here either ... I had to rest the unit on my knee to elevate it to screw in the hinges. The last challenge was putting on the roof peak piece, not really clear on the instructions. I turned it positioned it so it laid the flattest ... may not me exact center, but pretty close, then screwed it in ... on side only where the pre-drilled holes are. The roof support pieces you need to position as in the instruction diagram ... the one screw hole/screw acts as a pivot hinge to open and rest the roof part on ... not shown in the diagram. The unit is pretty big, much bigger than I anticipated. No complaints, but be prepared ... you could sublet it to college students. So far, I pleased with the purchase. I'd have given 5 stars if assembly went smoother ... perhaps you can benefit from my notes. The assembly was a bit. Bob. Brentwood, TN. Wed Sep 23 2026
