Just what I wanted.I have 2 cats and both have kittens and I needed one big enough I could put my cats with their babies in when I left the house on a 3 day vacation. Dont worry they have an automatic kitty litter box and they will have plenty of food and water as my friend will be over daily to check on them. It took us about 2 hours to put together but it was so worth it. I cant believe how well this was made, the screens that are on the walls are made of very good wire and the door in the front is nice too because I can actually fit right in there to feed them change their litter and most importantly love on them. Love this! Debated about the purchase for a while, but finally went for it, and my cats are in love. Its sturdy and assembly instructions are straight forward. Plenty of room for both of my large cats (about 12-14 lbs each). I added some finer screening around it to keep bugs out (just stapled it to the frame) and created a wood frame that fits inside my window so it can be secured without attaching it to the exterior of my house. Super nice window box. Made with quality materials including real wood. The accordion sides work easily but it has small gaps when you bring the inside window down to hold it in. I left off the plastic that goes on the inside because I knew my cats wouldnt use it with them on. The big issue for me is this will not allow you to close the window inside. If I build an outside support, I will be able to bring the screen down and I will be able to close the window. My cats love it so for now, I will just put it in the window when weather permits.. I decided to paint this cat cage the same color as my house and detached garage. It is so cute. I’m so happy with how it turned out aesthetically and the cats really love it too.
