I love this set! This is so solid and heavy that I'm sure it would hold a lot of weight like a heavy, terry winter bathrobe or nice thick wet bath towel. I actually use it for my hand towel and face cloth next to my sink. My towels have loops so I hang it that way but it works just as well to hang the towel in the hook just like a towel bar. I am hanging a very large face cloth (almost regular hand towel size) in my photo. I bought the whole set amd it really makes my bathroom stylish. Incredibly low priced for this solid quality. Moved into a new place and realized the single towel bar (one in each bathroom) wasn't going to be enough for us or for our guests, so we replaced them with these double towel bars.
