Installation was a bit tricky as this was the first custom shower drain I have installed but I was able to figure it out. Once installed this drain is awesome. The large water collection area prevents any kind of pooling and has a luxurious feel about it. With its timeless round wall flange, the hansgrohe FixFit S wall connection is your first choice for any bathroom environment – contemporary or classic. Installation is extremely simple: the FixFit S is screwed onto an existing water outlet on the wall (size G ½; DN15). After that, any commercially available shower hose can be connected. All hoses with a conical nut will fit into the holder – including shower hoses from the hansgrohe range that are identical in colour also. You can create your own dream bathroom without much effort.

The RainDrain Match 31 1/2" drain trim (finish set) in brushed stainless steel from hansgrohe is a flexible drainage solution for installation flush with the back wall or freestanding in the shower area. The shower drain trim's brushed stainless steel finish goes particularly well with modern bathroom designs. Alternatively, the channel can be tiled at the back also (max. tile thickness 18 mm). The vertically adjustable frame offers flexibility in the drain barrier also: so the system can be adjusted to the height of the tiles – for floor-level installation without trip hazard. The result meets the requirements of a barrier-free shower area. The innovative high-tech silicone membrane also ensure that hair and dirt do not get stuck. This helps prevent annoying blockages in the drain. It is easy: They are installed on a complete set with pre-assembled sealing fleece (sold separately).
