I missed two delivery windows because I was not aware it came with white glove service even if you didnt request it. The first table came very damaged so they sent a replacement. That also had a minor paint issue and the hinges to extend the table did not work 100 I eventually worked out a compromise with wayfair because I was not confident a 3rd table wouldnt also be damaged and I was really attached to the length of the table because I have a large dining area. Absolutely love it. So much nicer than I was expecting. Heavy duty, does not look or feel cheap. Took a couple hours to put together, but I completely glossed over the part of the instructions when it said to only screw some of the screws in by 80%. Make sure to follow that part - you need to be able to have a little give in order to get some of the other pieces into place correctly. Once you pass that step, then it tells you to go back and screw them to 100%. That probably would’ve saved me about half an hour, but that’s user error, lol. I would 100% recommend.. Dina. Weathered Natural

Update December 2025: with minimal use and a protective cover, this table has issues with the top. The inlay seemed to shrink? I added a photo of the gap. I only found out today when I removed the cover (it was time for a new one, which I have done once before because, again, minimal use). I am not even sure how to fix this... .... To be fair, this was just delivered. The table is solid and hefty. The color is very dark, almost a gray black, which is fine by me. You definitely need 2 people to put this together - I opted to have installation and I don't regret it! The table is big even without the leaf (see pic with chairs - yes, I have 8 chairs but took 2 out for a better pic). Either end space doesn't pull up close to the table because of the legs, but when you sit in the chair it is very comfortably spaced. Under the table, when sitting on the side chairs, it is very comfortable too, with decent elbow room (yes, even whithout the leaf and 3 chairs per side). Like others said, around the top's edge is a gap so you might need toothpicks to clean the groove, but it isn't obnoxious. The leaf gap is tight with the clamps in place, so that is also good. The extension mechanism is a chain wheel so it is smooth to pull apart. That said, i would assume it needs to be checked every so often. I can't speak to that since I just got the table.. Sheri. I lost my old 25 year old dining table during the remodeling project, so purchased this new table. I needed a long table for my large family. My designer consultant told me to buy an oval table for my space which I was reluctant to do at first. With the leaf in, it's perfect size for 8 chairs. It is an unusual wash out gray color, but since my oak floors are gray, it ended up matching pretty good. It took four off us to lift and carry from garage to dining, but was relatively easy to assemble. It is less wide than my old table but I think it makes for more intimate dinners.
