I've seen these newer afwalls being used hundreds of times since being introduced in 2008, and they have been nothing but really reliable and sensory-friendly for people on the spectrum. Unfortunately, there's a vocal group of haters on the internet who do not like this generation of afwall, but pay them no mind. The bowl of this toilet is deep enough compared to the older model that felt too shallow, like I was sitting on a clogged toilet. The new model, also, avoids siphoning out unnecessarily when you flush it, unlike the previous model that can do so unexpectedly and unnerve some people. The rough-in valve can be installed in any direction as long as the bathtub center line is aligned with one of the six screws on the plaster guard. The plaster guard has a flat top for easy leveling in installation to ensure the trim will be standing straight after installation. A test cap and plugs are included for pressure testing the connection between the rough-in valve and water supply lines.

The wall mount is reliably attached to the wall with two screws. The drilling distance is 0.9 in.
