The large water collection area prevents any kind of pooling and has a luxurious feel about it. First, the finish quality on this tub is very good, looks good. my main concern, and why I did not give it 5 stars is because the specifications and the CAD drawings spec the actual length at 66". However, the length is actually 65-3/4 " at the top of the tub and 65-5/8"at the bottom. This presented a problem requiring one of the end walls to be furred out so that the backerboard and tile installed correctly My rough-in was at 66-1/16" so as to allow the tub to slide in easily if it had been the length shown. This helps in the sustainable use of resources and reduces the plastic content in the environment. The brushed surface in is easy to clean. It corresponds to the color of the hansgrohe special surfaces for fittings (FinishPlus). So everything fits perfectly together. Easy to install. The shower door handle is placed on the door from the inside and outside and fastened with two screws. The hole spacing is approx. 13.8 in; the Diameter of the drill hole is approx 0.5 in. The glass thickness can be between 0.25-0.5 in.
