It looks high-end and feels sturdy, even though it doesn’t seem to be solid wood throughout. One thing to keep in mind is the surface care. I wouldn’t recommend using heavy oil-based products like Pledge, but I’ve found that something like Windex works perfectly and keeps it looking clean without leaving residue. Absolutely love it. So much nicer than I was expecting. Heavy duty, does not look or feel cheap. Took a couple hours to put together, but I completely glossed over the part of the instructions when it said to only screw some of the screws in by 80%. Make sure to follow that part - you need to be able to have a little give in order to get some of the other pieces into place correctly. Once you pass that step, then it tells you to go back and screw them to 100%. That probably would’ve saved me about half an hour, but that’s user error, lol. I would 100% recommend.. Dina. This set is not an heirloom piece by any means, but for the sale price and our particular needs (light use, able to sit 6+ people without a huge footprint), we are pleased. Arrived quickly (3 days) in two large boxes delivered together. Assembly was very straightforward. The quality isn’t superb and the materials will chip/dent easily, but the pros outweigh the cons for us, especially since this set will not be used daily. It’s hard to find an uncomplicated set that has clean lines, easy to pull out chairs for dusting, and vacuuming/mopping floors underneath, while still looking quite formal and elegant.
