They are indeed very very heavy and arrived in two different packages which was only annoying b/c then I had to get people twice to bring them in, versus just once but two trips at the same time. I just thought that part was odd. They haven't been installed yet so I need to update my review once that happens. These shower doors are very nice, thick and heavy. They glide very well. Love that the large rollers are the same diameter and match inside the shower as well as outside, also like the towelhandle bars. The header bar is solid and heavy, it has some sort of finish on it, but not sure how that will hold up with wear from the rollers. The bottom rail is supposed to be held down by the center piece, but it doesn’t slot in and hold it properly, it just slips in and out of it. So far this door has been awesome! It has only been installed and used for about a month, but so far so good. The doors glide very nicely and smoothly. We haven’t installed the item yet, but looking at it out of the box the quality is good. The glass is thick and seems durable. The pieces for the frame are a nice matte black color and everything seems to be as it should. Just installed this dreamline sliding shower door. We needed an option without a top rail because of the unusual structure of our bathroom. The bay window would not allow for a top rail install and the bathroom was too small for a pivot style door. This slider worked great. My only complaint is that the slider has a little too much play in the top glider and so rattles a bit. We plan to reduce the clearance with a thicker piece of rubber to eliminate that issue. We also have not been able to determine how to properly drain the inner channel. It seems to hold standing water after shower use. Could be user install error. Overall a great product.. Colette.
