Just installed this dreamline sliding shower door. We needed an option without a top rail because of the unusual structure of our bathroom. The bay window would not allow for a top rail install and the bathroom was too small for a pivot style door. This slider worked great. My only complaint is that the slider has a little too much play in the top glider and so rattles a bit. We plan to reduce the clearance with a thicker piece of rubber to eliminate that issue. We also have not been able to determine how to properly drain the inner channel. It seems to hold standing water after shower use. Could be user install error. Overall a great product.. Colette. The nickel finish is a worthwhile upgrade for a contemporary look. I chose the Lake Mist glass (after viewing choices on Sterling website) which offers a compromise between clear glass and 100 frosted. I like the combination of transparency at top with gradual opacity from a pattern of frosted dots that merge lower on the doors . Doors have a CleanCoat surface on the bath side that have kept them pretty spot free, even with my hard water, although I use a squeegee regularly as well. One of the doors did come with a horizontal line mark on the lower frosted surface, which I assume was from the cardboard packaging rubbing against it. Haven't been able to remove but not very noticeable. Installation took a few hours - measured twice then cut conservatively and used metal file to ensure close fit. Look for YouTube videos for tips on drilling into ceramic tile if your tub surround has it - saved me big headache.
