They are indeed very very heavy and arrived in two different packages which was only annoying b/c then I had to get people twice to bring them in, versus just once but two trips at the same time. I just thought that part was odd. They haven't been installed yet so I need to update my review once that happens. The doors are beautiful but a little hard to slide- may be because they are new. Towel bars are very close to the glass - a towel will hang on them but it is a little tight to get it behind the rod. These are beautiful shower doors (for my bathtub, actually). They are exactly as described. Their quality is excellent, and because of the extended size, they fit my uncommonly-sized tub enclosure perfectly. However, my tub is quite old and unfortunately the bottom brackets are too wide to be secured into the porcelain rim, and regretfully, I am unable to use these doors.. Marlene. New York, NY. Unfortunately, we were unable to install this door. Reading back through every description is where I saw the walls have to be 90° I do wish that it was more obvious. If your shower looks like this it will not work. We got everything up went to hang the glass and nothing lined up. Now we are stuck with a glass door we cant use. The instructions for assembly were not great. Most of the time we went off the pictures because it was unclear what it was telling us to do.
